Fragile Volume 1 is now available!

We are now taking pre-orders for Fragile Volume 1! Yay! :D
The book contains an exclusive 9-page bonus story, Q&A strips and guest art by fellow comic artists! And if you'd like, you can also get one of the Collector's Editions, with bookmarks, postcards and prints!
All the details are at the store. Pre-orders will be available until June 20th, and only during this period you'll be able to get a special signed & sketched bookplate! The book is available in Regular editions, Collector's editions, Gold collector's editions and E-books (PDF)!
I can't believe I've completed the first Volume, this is a dream come true. T^T And 3 times-a-week updates were fun! They'll make a comeback really soon...:D Thank you all for reading!

How I missed drawing comics. T^T
If you've been following me on Twitter, you'd see that I had planned to return mid-March, but during my trip my boyfriend had a medical emergency and I had to stay over for a couple more weeks to take care of him. And as soon I returned home, I had to accommodate family visiting for Easter. XD; Picking dates always ends up being a problem with me. But here I am, a new comic is up, and more will continue to be up until it's time to compile all of them into Fragile Volume 1! :D We catch up with Karen and Marian, and what about Emily...?

Whoopsies!

So I had to do a little emergency trip (everyone is okay, don't worry) to the other side of the world, again, and I wasn't able to complete a buffer for it. :'D
Updates might be a bit slow or unfinished 'cause I'm working from a computer that's not mine, and that's always a problem for me. XP Fear not, it won't be for too long. There will be Fragile for everyone! T^T
P.S.: Since I'm geographically able now, during this short period, any order from the store can be signed! And I will add a quick sketch to every order. :D

Happy new year to all! I hope everyone is doing awesome.
End of the year is always a super busy time for me. Work, my birthday (Dec 23rd), the holidays... but here I am, surviving the extreme heat of the Southern Hemisphere's Summer! *flexes arms*
I've been doing some small changes on my sites, soon enough you'll even see an updated cast page. There are new prints on the store, such as the covers for Chapter 03 and the new Chapter 04! (You can see I've added convenient links below those). And all items ship from the US!
Now, what readers are waiting for. Yes, a third page a week is happening. (gasp) I'll start by posting extra updates every other week, until I am used to the new schedule.
Meanwhile, I'll continue inking Eerie Cuties and working on a new Pixie Trix spin-off! (link might be NSFW!) Oh, and Springiette readers, don't fret, news are coming soon!
And now I leave you with the last chapter of Volume 1... I wonder what will happen next?

So, comics. Updates. Webcomic updates. Only two pages a week, perhaps you'd like to see more... I know I do! So I came up with an idea: If Fragile gets to 5,000 unique hits on update days (on Analytics), I'll bump updates to 3 times a week. :D (Right now we're at 3,100) How does that sound? And while a lot is on me -finding new readers-, you can help on this too, by spreading the word! Share a link with someone you think would like this little story, and I'll update one more time, for free! :D

(Finally) back!

Wow, has it really been two months since the last update? Half of that time I spent it in bed sick, so I don't really remembered much. But I am back, yaaay!
Thank you for your patience and I hope many of you returned and is reading this new update! I also wanna thank to everyone who came by my Otakon table, it was my first convention ever, and it was great to meet readers, and fans of cute as well! It was so much fun I am already planning to attend more cons next year!
I did a bit of reorganizing on the website, most of the extra updates were moved to the Gallery for comic continuity. The comic Q&A was not possible due to my getting sick... but it will happen! Questions will be answered! I just think it's better to continue with the story right now, after that long, long hiatus... :D
On other news, my friends convinced me, and now I have a board on the Pixie Trix forum! And we became partners with Hiveworks, for which you'll see Marian & Emily's faces in many more websites now. :P
Finally, remember that splash of color that was all my con merchandise? It's up on the store! Prints, buttons, charms, and the limited print run of Fragile Chapter 0.5! I only printed a small batch for the con, and once they're gone, they're gone!
I think that's everything for now! And so continues the story of this group of friends...!

I made the flight (I didn't get sick once), and ever since I've been here prepping up for Otakon! I'll be at table V09 (look for a big Shouri sign and lots and lots of strong colors)! We'll have a bunch of prints, buttons, charms, freebies, and Springiette Vol 1 & Fragile Chapter 0 (very limited quantities)!
If you're not going to Otakon but you would want some of the Fragile merch... keep an eye for shop updates! :D

Let me start by saying that I didn't forget Tuesday's update; I've been in bed sick with fever & coughing for almost a week now... but now I'm getting better, so back to the drawing canvas (software) it is!
As I've said before, I'll be at Otakon 2012 this year! With a table at the Artist's Alley and all! Since I'll be traveling a lot and visiting friends, I may not have enough time to finish a full page, so I thought of doing Q&A comics! Reply to this blog post with your questions, I'll select them and draw the answers as comics! There will probably be some questions I won't answer (spoilers!), but you can try anyway. :9

And now, for slightly better news! I'll be at Otakon this year! We'll have books, prints, buttons and probably watercolor commissions. It's the first time I attend an american con (and will be the only one I can do, this year), and it would make me very happy if I get to meet someone who reads my comics! I'll be posting new updates once we get the table info, and photos of new merch!

Little break + guest strips

I just wanted to let readers know that I won't be updating the comic next week. If you're following me on Twitter, you probably saw I haven't had an easy week: first one of my dogs passed away due to sickness, and now one of my uncles. So I'm taking a week to rest and get my things in order, and I'll be back with Fragile on May 29th. If you'd like to send in a Guest Strip (e-mail), I'll gladly post them. If not, I'll try to post some sketches I've been working some weeks ago. I hope next week to be able to post happier news, related to conventions and other cute things.

Speaking of chapters, I'm curious about my readers... reading habits. Some people like to follow webcomics week by week, others like to read chapters when they're done. Summer-ly Holidays!

Holidays, visitors and Summer (Southern Hemisphere, here :P) are near! I will be taking a break from regular updates on both Springiette and Fragile. The last strip update for 2011 will be on Thursday 22nd. After that, I will update with sketches and gag strips! If anyone wants to send some Guest comics/art, they're more than welcome to! I link back :) (644px wide). I didn't put up a formal request (like on Springiette) because this is a fairly new comic...
Fragile will return on January 17th (Tuesday). I hope to see you all again (and new readers) when Fragile returns! :)

November is always a very busy for me. The Eerie Cuties/Magick Chicks book (for which I've colored the covers and postcards--hey, I'm even named on the cover!), participating in a 2D (and 3D?! Gasp!) exhibition with a Springiette illustrations (see pics here!, other work... But as I (slowly!) strike off those items from my To Do List, I can again focus on my personal projects. I try my best to, if I can't update my comics at the time slot I like (12am EST), at least I can provide the update in the same day. (With less workload I can again work on my favorite part, BUFFERS! 8D). I'm setting up Livestream, and hopefully I'll be able to show how I work on comics from time to time, I'll be doing some edits on the site here and there... anything you think would make the reading experience more enjoyable? Comments? More extras? By the way, don't forget you can discuss the comic over at the Fragile Facebook Page, or the Google+ Page! See more art and sketches over Tumblr and deviantART (or see the sketches BEFORE I post them by voting for Fragile on TopWebcomics!) Or there's always my Twitter!

Four friends embark on their final year of school. Jess & Karen can't wait to start their musical career, and Steph has a promising future in fashion & design. Marian, on the other hand, can barely decide what she'll have for breakfast. And suddenly, a new girl arrives in town, who will change the way they see the world. Can a single photograph awaken Marian's own dream in life? A journey in self-discovery awaits, not only Marian, but all her friends as well.

I remember creating these characters, many years ago. I am not sure how many times I've rewritten their stories, but now I've finally gathered the courage to put them to (proverbial) paper. I wanna thank you for stopping by and read my first long form, "full page" webcomic! While it's not my first webcomic (Springiette is! 4 panel cuteness!), it is the first time I work on this format... so I hope you like what you will see. :)
