On February 19th, my fiance’s mom lost her 6-month battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Some of you have met him at conventions we’ve attended together. I dropped everything to fly to be with him and his family, and that’s the reason why I haven’t been updating. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts, and learn about this disease/donate to cancer research in her memory.
See you all again in April, and thanks for the support.

Curious what I have planned for this year? Click here to find out!

Yeah! My niece was born the beginning of this year, and we've all been busy with baby duty, helping the new parents so they can get some sleep.
On other news, you must be wondering why my updating schedule has gone off a cliff recently...... bah, for all of 2014. Overall 2014 was an eclectic year. I can't say it was the best nor it was the worst, but it was full of opposites.
Alan's death on January (my 15 year old three-legged cat) affected me quite a bit. Then when I traveled I got a serious ear infection that made me stop hearing from an ear until I got back home and got it healed...
Good things also happened like being able to color for IDW's Littlest Pet Shop, my sister being pregnant, going to Canada for the first time and meet again with Gisèle, Dave and Marc, (the World Cup lol), having run a very succesfull Kickstarter for Ma3's Vol 6...
And there are things (health wise) that are happening that I prefer to respect the privacy of those affected, but that make me have to be there for support, and obviously that takes a toll on anyone. Due to stress (so much stress) I ended up being diagnosed with osteocondritis esternocostal (I don't know the English term for this and Wikipedia doesn't help, but basically it's chest pains due to inflamed cartilage that makes you wonder if you're having a heart attack) and doc said to take ibuprofen whenever it hurts and don't get any more stress.
So yeah!!! *sarcastic thumbsup*
But if you think that's gonna stop me, you obviously don't know me very well.
When I offered to take the hit and wrap up Magick Chicks, it was because I knew it would end soon. The Kickstarter shifted our timetable a bit, but the end line is near. During February I'll be updating Fragile once a week, and hopefully my schedule will stabilize by then. I hope you've also noticed that the newest pages of Fragile have been SUPER PACKED with heads and details, and I really prefer to give everything I can to make them as good as I want them to be, and not just have talking heads on black backgrounds. *shrugs*
